What, like using a wah rocker? Hmmm, probably two VCAs made from a LM13700 would be an easier way to go. The wah rocker used to deliver contol voltage to the VCAs, with one VCA's CV input via in inverter. I'm sure there's an article at GEOFEX about panning. The LM13700 datasheet also makes interesting reading.
