Did a quick sound clip of this thing. The partial schematic is how I wired the tone control.

Sounds really good Doug, the tone control looks like it would be much better than the original.

DougH

Thanks! I think the original tone control was terrible. It got way too thin to be useful.

DougH

Thanks!

It's a cool little fuzz box for such a simple circuit. :icon_wink:

That sounds great.  Was the fuzz maxed at any point?

DougH

Fuzz was on max and the volume was around 70-75% (linear pots for fuzz and volume). Gain changes were done with the guitar volume control.

Thanks for the comments!

Shameless bump since I posted this at the end of the week when things were slow...

I think the clip sounds cool. The clean up, volume knob roll-off  sounds are nice as well.
Has a nice bold sound to it.
Did the dragonfly board not work out since you had to tweak the circuit?

Very cool sounding fuzz, man!

But, my dear Doug, I will blame on you the consequences of knowing this one!

Beacause I will build another fuzz, the number 78 I think, and it certainly will let me crazy about what I can get in my pedalboard and what will be left out.
Pagan and happy!

DougH

Alex, it is my pleasure to harass you further with another fuzz circuit, my friend.... :icon_wink:
