I have a BBE Green Screamer overdrive pedal that I love the sound of.   Its got issues lately though.

When engaged I can be playing and then all of a sudden it will start crackling and popping.  i put the pedal in bypass mode and its fine.   I have checked all of the solder connections and touched a few of them with the iron to make sure they were ok.    I also replaced the 3PDT switch with a new one.   I have a socket installed for the opamp so i swapped opamps to make sure something wasn't wrong there.    swapped in and out cables and no other pedals are in the chain.   Also when it starts making the noise you can play with the levels on all 3 pots and it doesnt make it better or worse.     It does this when running on battery or AC.  So I think i have it narrowed down to something in the circuit.   What could i do to figure out whats wrong?

Hi JD, this forum is for digital pedals - you'd probably get more responses in the "Building your own stompbox" forum:
