Silly question about the Orange Squeezer 4.7m res.

Hi folks, finishing my take on the Orange Squeeer, but...Damn, no 4.7m res in  my parts bin...
before I am gonna make a snake-like res. wiring 3 or 4 values in series, I see from all the schems around that this res (going from input to ground) should be just a pulldown...So is 4.7m a mandatory value or can I put in say a 1m with no differences???

yes Rick - it could work too...but my question is:
If it is just a pulldown, does its value really matters? I read somewhere else in the forum that above 1m it's all good...
So can I put just one 1m at its place???

ok thx - finally I put in a 3.9m, it was the one available closer to the original spec.
