Fortunately, or unfortunately my 4yr old rips apart any old electronic stuff he gets his hands on, so I save the boards for parts.
Those little pc mount switches come in handy for fixing Boss type switches and rackmount/floor fx switches.

When salvaging parts from video equipment, keep in mind that Betamax machines have twice the mojo of VHS!
