well i built my first phaser ever today and i must say it took some messing about to get it to sound right. but i am very happy i built it

I built the Piedrita from tonepad with 2 changes....I used 12v instead of 9 and i used lm13700's instead of 13600's

I had to change a lot of cap values to hear any real sweep (which made me think it was broken at first) as 3.3 uf from +v was wayyyy too slow

also...the regen cap (which was listed as 1uf) gave me almost no regen.. so i switched to a 104 and voila...good phaser sound

Now I was wondering if anyone could explain how this clock works....Is it a triangle Lfo? i noticed when trying other clocks i got a lot more TICKING in the circuit so any info on how to make clean phaser clocks is appreciated.

Also...the range on this seems very small. In order to go from very low to very fast i had to add a switch with different SPEED cap values (the LFO clock)

even with a large pot.

thanks so much
