I am new to this whole pedals thing and am working on a feedback looper pedal as my first build. The schematics i found were special (let the effect fade away instead of cutting it off), but he used a dpdt switch. I have one, but i wanted to use my 3pdt as a 2p2d (3p2t is the blue, 9-lug, EHX type switch, right?). I just need help, as this switch already confuses the heck outta me. any way to do this properly?

Yeah, you can just ignore a set of lugs and treat a 3PDT as a DPDT. (D = double = 2)

This just popped up in another thread.

To understand the differences in pins on a dpdt and 3pdt ten this should be helpful:

When you know how it works it should be easy for you to use either in any application

That's right. If you wanted to go further then you could use the spare column to duplicate a used one to make it more reliable, but that might be overkill.
