Ray Land has a free download version of RJWSort Schematic Publisher at his site  http://atlas.csd.net/~rjwsoft/SchematicEditorPromo/schematicpubwebpage.html ).  It produces nice clear, easy to read schematics and doesn't seem to have heavy computer requirements.  Check out his website ( http://atlas.csd.net/~rjwsoft/synthesizer.html ) for some interesting ideas and nice circuits too, generally all with accompanying PCB layout.

Hmmm, not sure what's up.  I was there, and copied the URL while there, but it doesn't work for me either at the moment.  A worm-related problem perhaps?

great software - is there an icon for FETs or MOSFETs?  I didn't see one in there....

You can get a copy of PSpice (popular electronics industry program) at Michigan State University's website. I can't remember the address, but I found it through a Google search for "PSpice".
