Question about switch
« on: October 07, 2009, 09:07:16 PM »
Hi guys, I'm new arround here and building stompboxes... I've got a question, this switch work for stompboxes? I did read http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=970.0 but there the explanations is for 3, 6 or 9 poles switches, this one is of 4 as far as I can understand:

Thanks for the help!

PS: Registering is not that easy, I'm not guitarrist so I didn't know how many pickups does a Telecaster have and I speak spanish so I didn't know the exact definition of pot, thanks God that Google was to save the day  :icon_biggrin:

You can use it, but not for the typical true bypass switching. It could be used to switch things in and out, such as a boost or for bypassing a tone control etc...

Simple switching, like as a boost for a pedal, or for adding more bass etc... but not for the usual bypass (effect on and off).
