More Help Needed!! (DEBUGGING)

This is driving me crazy...
Connected ground wires to jacks..
now it only makes kindof splatering sound.pot does not clean up..hiaz..triple check all soldering with MM all seems to be fine
Help me guys!!

one question,does a circuit work without power?mines did. battery disconnected but my signal still ended up like a bypassed clean.
reading of voltages at transistor pins looks wierd.
C 9++
B less than 2
E no reading zero 0

LOL haha thanks for everyones help. a whole day of debugging and im finally worked it out. thanks to aron and the bunch of guys who really helped me out these past few days.

this was in position of my 47k resistor. frigging shop keeper gave me this.
btw anyone knows wads this?? as in how to read the colour code? i know how to read but this?

If it is Yellow-Purple-Black-Brown-Brown-Red, you've got a 4.7k resistor.

ahaha thanks mike. the shop gave me a 4.7k instead of a 47k resistor. so thats why my circuit couldnt work.lol.
woah just a small component mistake could result to big difference.
