Hi all,
New to the forum here, and I need some help fixing my new fuzz face build. I get a clean sound when bypassed, but when the pedal is turned on, I also get a clean sound, but at a really low volume, and not the least bit fuzzy. I'm using PNP silicon transistors, the ones I received in the kit. I didn't substitute any components, i'm pretty sure the transistors are in the right way around. Any ideas on what to do?

Here are some pictures:

I can post larger photos if you need them

And here are links to the project info:

the pics didn't show up, but most importantly you need to post voltages of the transistors

look at GGG
http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/pdf/ggg_ff5_instruct.pdf

Component Location Voltage
9 volt power supply 9v
Q1 Collector 1.4v
Base 0.6v
Emitter 0.0v
Q2 Collector 4.5v (if you use a trimmer,
you can set the voltage)
Base 1.4v
Emitter 0.8v

Ok... I don't have my multimeter with me, ill have to test the transistors later. If the transistors are indeed blown, then I guess I just get a new pair. But what should I do if the transistors are fine?

troubleshoot other parts like the external wiring
