Slade and I will decide on the winner. The judges decision is final. No bribes will be accepted.......!

What kind of 666 competition is this if I can not bribe the judges???  :icon_question:

Rick, PM, we can make some kind of deal!  ;)

I have a pretty good idea for an entry, but there is no way I'll get it done in time for the contest. :(

So instead, can I suggest that whoever wins the Murder One consider getting together with Rick and Slade to come up with another contest whose prize would be the winning entry of this contest? It would be great to have a continuing community-run contest to encourage people to push their own limits.

Just a thought...

I estimate that page 666 is 2 months away, maybe a little less.

Surely 8 weeks is time enough for deciding on the build, ordering parts and building! Shall we have another competition based on the date that the Pictures! thread reaches page 666?

I don't think the winner should have to part with their winning entry - kind of defeats the object for me - all that effort just to give it away - the competition has to be no strings attached. But it would be great if someone else did 'sponsor' a future build-off. Tell you what, being as my favourite chip is the LM13700, I promise to sponsor another competition when the Pictures! thread reaches page 13700.  :D

I have a couple of projects in mind but I am taking my holidays soon. Not enough time to think, experiment and build a pedal.
Lastima! I'd like to put my hands on one of those subminis...  :icon_cry:

Family obligations and home repair take precedence over pedal building. If I don't get the downstairs bathroom in working order before her family visits, she'll never let me build another pedal again...heh! Ah, the life of a DIYer. :)

Oh, I totally agree. It was just a thought in case the winner decided they wanted to do it. I didn't mean to make it seem like I was suggesting that it should be a condition of the contest. The winner obviously will be getting a nice prize, so they might be more likely to extend the generosity like you and Slade. :)

Of course I thought that was a lap steel type guitar ,A Diddly Bo only has one string which looking closer I can see they only had one on there.
