and made a slow etch mixture to keep the fine details....takes longer but worth it.

That's strange, because since a few etches I take the opposite route - I heat my HCl+H2O2 mixture and quicken the etch, so I don't underetch. Mind you, I do it under a fume hood, because the gases are quite dangerous. This one took about five minutes and is relatively deep.

im still on the ferric......the last etch i did was quite fierce, so i mixed it back a little

different boxes, different mixtures of metals..etc.

.
No, it's Sean Connery's

If you want to go full Connery you should label the controls Shquelch, Shweep, Shmooth...

I laughed and then realised I'm German and did not get it. Merde. Need to see the movies in English again.

Quite frankly it's one of the strangest things i've ever watched on youtube, and that's saying something.

But here it is: my finest etch ever.

And frankly that's a very high bar, as every single one of your etches is excellent. But I have to agree, you really outdid yourself on this one :icon_eek:

That is an unbelivable etch! and only took 5 minutes?

Wow, it's me again. I don't feel so terribly productive but the last post was mine, too....
But here it is: my finest etch ever. As you can see, a triple pedal: Catalinbread VarioBoost (first or last switchable), Klon, BB Preamp (or rather Fluxdrive).

Even the small lettering for the frequency scale came out, I am astonished myself.
Damn that detail is astounding!
I've only done one etch so far... seeing works like this is motivating.
Yeah Nah - Nah Yeah

Guys, your etches are getting better and better!
My first one was great but it's been fast downhill since :-\

No guitar plugged in, in any of those shots.   :icon_frown:

However, knowing Rob's skills with light-shows, I'm sure he could rig something up that goes off automatically when the input jack is empty.   :icon_biggrin:

Here's an electro-etch I did. Didn't come out perfect, but I'm happy with it for my first time!
It's a Shin-Ei FY-2 clone with a tone knob (really a mid control).

Image links need to be to actual pictures (so usually ending in .jpg or .png or similar).  Here's one I managed to get from your Google photo by clicking on the thumbnail:

Or just use something like imgur.com for your pictures.  It's easy and free and gives you exactly the IMG tags you need to embed here.

BTW, nice build.  8)

Thanks for the heads up! And thanks for the compliment!
Hey everybody!

125Signal

Really nice work everyone. I really dig Deadastrnaut's latest. :) Looks like the front end of a '57 Chevy Bel Air if I'm not mistaken. I made one last year of the tail end of '57 Ford Fairlane. A clone of a CreamPuff inside. Keep up the great work everyone!

Here's are a few pics of a more recent enclosure I've completed.
