No   this is brave. I havent sat down to finish it yet but all it needs is the final assembly. It's a harmonic percolator in a slant cut 1590A.

I finally got a half decent enclosure etch. I had the pattern cut out of vinyl then i stuck it to the enclosure and etched away.

Nice!!!   :D

@guitarmaggedon

Very entomological and well done! Does the shading happen automatically due to the height and depth of the image, or do you vary the amount of paint?

Thanks Gents!
It's part of the etch. It's a dot matrix.

Dallas Rangemaster on vero, switchable input caps (using a 10-way mini-rotary switch I bought from Joe Gagan), and OC44.

I didn't personally do the etching, but it is a nice design. A fellow from the madbean forums etched it.
Mockingbird wish me luck.

joegagan

my life is a tribute to the the great men and women who held this country together when the world was in trouble. my debt cannot be repaid, but i will do my best.

That enclosure has been globe-trotting for about a year now.

More practice etching.. one off Beavis Board w/ relay switching.

I took the idea for the graphic from a bottle of red wine. I think wine labels are great for inspiration for stompbox art - they are about the same size and have some great graphics and fonts.
