Hey Peter try Ctrl+Shift+F it brings up the edit fill and stroke as well. Also it helps when designing layouts in inkscape to use layers.

Nice Looking Timmy too.

Awesome Jubail

Mustachio and Gord. Thanks for the input. Changing the font colour instead of inverting it did the trick.

Diysb pictures treads are my go to web pages.
The real pedal porn, with great artist all over the world contributing or, well, "performing"; I would like to perform too, but my boxes are always plain and boring (the good ones) or horrible (the numerous no good ones).

btw, nice pedal Enthropic_Dissonance, I assume that also the black innards are sabbath inspired....

What do you mean? He's got standing resistors, you never have standing resistors unless you're short on space  :icon_mrgreen:

It was originally going to be an IC Big Muff but I couldn't get it to fit how I wanted it to due to the depth of the enclosure. I had the veroboard with the rangemaster circuit soldered from a while ago. I really wanted to try out etching for the first time and I got the idea to do this with the rangemaster, a total waste of space but it came out really nice.

Yes. It did. Welcome to this place. I like the LED in the etched star. Very neat.

My last build, a modded EHX Bassballs clone :

And a quick build for a friend (he's Ribery's fan :icon_lol:), a MXR Distortion+ :

Thanks to all etchers!!! After a couple of years building, etching, lots of tries... I´ve found my personal method to etch. It´s inspired in all your toturials and my personal experience. This is what I can make right now. In a couple of years more I hope that I´ll improve my skills  :icon_mrgreen:.

Here you have two MKIII tonebeders with AC125 germanium.

Nice builts Alejandro!

A GGG Mini Mixer with 3 inputs in order to fit it into a 1590b box.

Does anyone know how to remove all the black stuff (carbon ?) From the etch to get a cleaner look?

0000 super fine steel wool works pretty well for me. Looks great, btw!

peterg

Thanks Tristan. I'll givve steel wool a try on the next one.

Here is something I cooked up quickly last night.

I can't think of anything funny just yet.

Thanks peterg!!!!

I use the finest water sand paper available and also acetone. Even I use the glass-ceramic hob cleaner, use a good brand and you will see how it removes a lot of the black stuff. Nevertheless I never obtain a clean clean finish specially in borders, corners, tiny spaces... but they give the pedal character!! ;D

Posted in main thread but being etched.....
