Does a dedicated audio digital delay IC exist? (easing into DSP)

from what you say, it sounds like you can increase the fv-1 sample rate to 44.1K or higher, correct?

can you connect external ram to increase the delay time/sample rate?  if so, is it very difficult?

what type of accuracy/consistency can be expected when converting a voltage to a delay time?

how many bits is the resulting output resolution, 16 bit?, 12 bit?

48K is the max so 44.1K would be fine

No, there is no way to add external delay memory.

9-bit ADC on the POTs so value ranges from 0 to 0.998 (511/512). If more resolution is needed many people use 2 POT inputs, one for a coarse setting and one for fine.

For audio it is a 24-bit delta-sigma converters, delay ram is a 14-bit floating point format so a bit of truncation can happen for large values when written to delay ram.
