Hi y'all.

guess the subject is pretty self-explanatory. I'ma start on my neutron (GGG pcb) pretty soon, and I was wondering if it is possible to use a max1044a in place of the 7660. I have seen other projects where they can be alternated - but would I need to change anything? or is it a straight swap...

Cheers,

J

ok, been doing a bit more research for myself on this.

Found the pisotones site which is a nice comapanion to RG's Neutron build docs:
http://translate.google.co.nz/translate?js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.pisotones.com%2FMuTron-III%2FMuTronIII.htm&act=url

just want to make sure i'm reading this right (thanks google translate!) - to sub the maxx1044 for the 7660, I will need to jumper pins 1 and 8?

My vactrols should be arriving this week, hopefully I'll get this sucker built up by the weekend...
