I'm about to start making a Boutique Fuzz Face (GGGadgets)
NPN-version and wondering about the 10k trim-pot.
Is it soldered to the board from the two legs only?

if this is the layout you are refering to

than all three legs of the 10k trimpot are soldered to the board as indicated.

Hi,
I just finished building the Boutique Fuzz last weekend. It is a very easy build and sounds great. The 10k trim pot that I bought had three legs in a v-shaped pattern, which worked fine because the PCB has two holes for the center pin. In answer to your question, all three legs should be soldered to the board.

Does anyone know how the trim pot should be biased?

Thanks,
Kurt

A trim- pot has three legs but the left one seems to be soldered but it
doesn't seem to have any function - same with the schematic.
I'm building the fuzz on a perf-board and I've got a trim-pot like on the
rocket fuzz:

And I'm just wondering about the third leg.
