I'm having problems with my rc-2 loop station.Basically as soon as i connect the power up (via psu or battery) and connect the input and output cables the "check" light comes on but as soon as you touch the pedal it goes off and the rec/play/dub light comes on permanently flickering.Non of the nobs will then work or indeed the tap tempo button.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I've had the cover off tonight and got the pcb out but i can't see any visible problems however i am wondering if it's an earthing issue as on occassion when the board touched the casing the other 3 lights came on and the rec/play/dub light stopped flickering.
Anyone experienced any similar problems?

try to inspect the pcb under good light (Better under microscpe) for cold joints. if you won't find anything - most likely you won't be able to fix it.
digital effects ar hard to repair. I have repaired boss rv-5 myself. I had to change smd IC with ~100 legs. the ic cost about 30$ and it was a wild guess to change it.
