Heard it again and again - ok, I take one!   :icon_mrgreen:
The FX is a little bit too compressed and boxed (you know what I mean?). It could be more open, just a little bit. More amp than box...
Anyway, sounds cool.

been messing around with 2 tones...one tight (modern) and one standard 'open' sounding(old school)...hmmm its quite good, its great having a switch there to instanly hear the difference, without moving wires etc...
both on together sounds quite good too...thick n punchy..

now if i cold get both sound types from 1 pot i'd be a happy bunny.... ;D

yeah probably be ok with that...

i was just altering the 'modern' tone again..got a lovely gilmourish solo sound, very open with that woody undertone to it...i'll make a note of it...(one for the future..)

i swapped the 100n for a 22n...and the 100r for a 5.6k.....arghhhhhhh too many choices...ha ha...

i'll probably end up with a 12 way rotary .... :icon_mrgreen:

^ ha ha, sod that....might be an idea for another project though!.. ;)

anyway, i'm back to one pot ..yay!..., switching from the 100n/100r(maybe 470p) - 22n 10k(maybe 5.6k)....just need to sort out the volume differences...hmmmm....sounding good though!...

flipping between modern/old school-ish.....the old school with gain backed off is really cool for bluesy stuff...so its like 3 pedals in one really...great!.. :icon_twisted:

@walt: yeah i'm getting there, i can't wait to see it too....  ;D... heres what i have at the moment on breadboard..
theres a big volume difference in tone selections modern is low old is high , i'll have to sort that, i'll try with a trim etc...unless anyone has any other ideas...?

i was messing around with a layout and i thought i'd do a 'no tone stack version' layout and pcb...just add your own stack! ---  a distortion module if you like..:icon_cool:
ive checked it and it all looks ok... :)

ok this clip doesn't really do it justice  its thrugh the emulated out of my marshall avt275 clean channel.

..ive got my ears around those high ends and gone for a more chunky feel...losing the fizz... :)

the first is the open sound...second is the  tight second clip .its got a nice palmy feel...

i go through the tone control on both too...as i say it doesn't do it justice really compared to what i hear in my room...excuses excuses... ;)

if i lift the c1   1uf  from ground it gives a much cleaner chunk, but less sustain...but is a good feature too....hmmmm

this is with the c1 lifted off ground...it cleans up better too...
