hey, btw, i dunno if it's a different wiring in mine, but on mine, the vowel and counter switch indeed DO seem to operate together...sounds different with either than with both.

check yours out and see if maybe one of yours does that too?

Checked both units, and neither do what yours does bro. The only thing I can think of, maybe you have a short between the solder tangs on one of the switches. the space between the tangs is VERY tight, and I have caught a wire or two touching the tang next to it when I was playing with them. Take a really bright light, and inspect the tangs where the wires are soldered, make sure they're not touching the tang beside it. You might have to look from different angles. It's tighter than a frogs ass in there... and THAT'S water-tight!

Kind of reminds me of an old Bally pinball machine I used to have hehehehe
