Fender HRD III channel switch only

Here is a small switch I made for my new Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III.

I did not want the more drive at all on the switch and hated the look of the stock switch, so I made my own switch following the schematics from Fender.

A little trial and error and I got it right in about four hours.

Here is the finished product, along with the final prototype laying on my work bench before installing in the box or adding the LED.

Could you please tell me what resistor you used to drive the led?

I want to incorporate this with electronic switching. I guess this would really need a relay to switch since it is 18vac.
