What transistor specs do you like in an FZ-1A?

Unfortunately, I couldn't find my notes here so can't give exact details, but I definitely posted a bunch of build reports over the years on this forum.

Though, I can tell you I chose low to medium gain (50 -80) with moderate leakage enough to fire Q2 and Q3.

Okay cool, thanks for the reply.  Might have some Ge PNPs in that ballpark, will dig around.
