my last three builds, my doubleneck > cheezy behringer mixer> cheezier onboard soundcard

first clip, the clone theory i just built...freekin' luscious...was having a problem with it distorting, turned out i had a pin on one of the chips bent...oooops..

first, the 12 string thru it` at various settings, then the 6 string...just a real simple chord progression so it's easy to hear...note: i only bypassed one output...when it's off, the second/stereo output drops out. may have to fix that.

next up, kap'n krunch...basically an lpb1 with a footswitchable diode clipper, but i accidently found a trick to up the gain when the clipper's on...works fairly well...sounds MUCH better pushing an amp than this mixer...

finally, my take on forest whiteside's dead easy dirt, i call it the stiff hippy....the changes are asymetrical clipping with 1n34a/1n914 on one side, 1n4148 on the other, a 100u cap and 1n4001 on the power jack to help cut some noise... i REALLY like this circuit, gonna play with it some more...responds well to the guitar and touch, LOTSA high end balls, guitar tone control works it really well..
