Big muff issue

I built a Big Muff (GGG) a couple years back and recently it has started acting up. It is almost like someone is turning the volume up and down repeatedly.  Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

Check your power connections. I had the same problem and the power wire wasn't soldered properly.
