So i wired up a boost from a layout clone of the SHO cause i had most of the parts around besides vero board. Last night i made it and it was pretty easy to get it assembled but when it comes to adding output jacks, a switch, gain pot, and the input i get lost and do not really have alot of extra parts to spare so i thought id post the layout.

Looks like you need a 5k reverse log pot for the gain. Looking at the bottom of the pot, the 3 lugs would be 3 - 2- 1 wired to the respective numbers on the board. For all other offboard wiring, there are different ways. I usually use gaussmarkov's layout for that:  http://gaussmarkov.net/wordpress/thoughts/wiring-up-a-1590b/  OR you could use tonepads version: http://www.tonepad.com/project.asp?id=35
Hope that helps!

wow first link leave alot of reading. The layout i have tells me what to do for the pot and the battery snap i got on tonight also. Now comes to point where i get my mind blown, adding a switch! I do not have an idea of how to do it and if it should be toggle or stomp. Anyways if we can keep this going ill try and get a camera for the update

Those diagrams are for 3PDT stomp switches, and yes, it is a bit confusing. Gaussmarkov's link explains it pretty well. Just take your time and follow each step, or if you use tonepads version, pick the version that suits you (with led/ without led etc.). I'm not too sure if it's cool to post links or other diagrams in here.... google 3PDT wiring and look at images. There's lots of 'em. If you still need help, I'll walk you through it.

If you want to try your effect you can just wire up jacks and the battery snaps to try your effect.

Wire up the pot like such: http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/DRAGONFLY-LAYOUTS_0/The-Mod-Zone-_/POT_LUG_NUMBERING.gif.html

Connect your sleeves on your jacks together and connect the tips to in respectively out.
Sleeves/tips explained:
http://gaussmarkov.net/wordpress/parts/connectors/14-phone-jacks-and-plugs/

Then use your battery snap and connect red to 9+ and the black to ground.

The gaussmarkov site is really great and so is tonepad's wiring pdf (scratch that, all of tonepad is great!).
Beavis audio had a great section on switches but it's gone now, but you can cheat: http://web.archive.org/web/20100729130245/http://www.beavisaudio.com/techpages/Switches/

Thanks a lot i did not get a chance to go into the jack wire's i am guessing one goes to the + and one to ground from each jack but im still waaaaaaay confused. As for the pot thank you thank you i just got that done, But i forgot to mention that i do not have a 3PDT switch i was hoping to use this with a a normal toggle for now until i get ready to house it. (trying to put it and a FUZZ inside a 1590bb bit of an overwhelming project to start with but I know its very possible and education if i can)

Like Keeb said, if you want to just try it out ..... connect the tip of the input jack to the "in" on the board, the tip on the output jack to the "out" on the board. Then the GND of the board to the sleeve of either jack. Solder a wire from the sleeve of the input jack to the sleeve of the output jack. Solder the positive lead of the battery snap to "9v" on the board, and the negative lead to the sleeve of either jack.
