Fellow forumites...
As I have mentioned in earlier postings, my biggest fear with this is that it will put a kabosh on future competitions which have shown to provide a lot of creativity, inspiration, and even commercial success for participants. That I know of, there were at least 2 builds that are now commercially available. It has also provided many of us with new projects to expand our ever growing back log of builds!
Most of all, I DO NOT want this to discourage Aron from allowing us to hold future competitions. THIS IS PARAMOUNT!!! As you all know, Aron not only provides this great forum.... he also sets up the entry fee collection accounts, handles the monies, and even donated the T-shirts with the last competition which HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO but, did anyways in the spirit of giving and competition.
If we lose his generosity and willingness to participate.... THERE WILL BE NO MORE COMPETITONS and this is the last thing that I want and I am sure it is the same for most of you as well.
So please.... whomever is involved... lets get this thing closed out and move on so we can appease the forumites, Urs, and our gracious host
