I've got nothing that i'm breadboarding at the moment, but I'm always curious to see what others are up to!

puretube

Currently got 2 on the bench:

+ some stored...  :icon_biggrin:

sorry for the delay, but after the upload-issues have been solved,
here are the details... :

(23 breadboardz in total, if I counted right...)

What you really need is some more stored breadboards.

Hope this didn't come off bad ... was meant to be a joke.    :)

You`s right -  some new ones came in today... :

so now I can poke in those (in the meantime PCB`d) protos for testing... :

You're on fire Puretube!  I didn't know Sovtek manufactured amps ... cool.

Here's mine, the removable cover helps keep the dust out.

Here's my breadboard. I've had it for over a year but only just started using it.
I couldn't get used to it really, but I guess it's something you need to get comfortable with to start using properly.
I improvised a connection panel for pots, in/outs pots and bypass switch from an old pedal enclosure.
I don't have the materials at the moment but when I do I'm going to make a better connection panel, like with a aluminium strip with holes for pot-meters and wiring strips, just to make things easier.
I can't believe I've put this off for so long, I never realized how use full this tool actually is.

To make things easier (its mostly getting lost in the maze of connections that does my head in), I built the different stages on IC-sockets where I soldered in the set connections, and plugged in the things I wanted to tinker with.
Now I can move around whole stages or add stages more easily.

indeed, there are so many pedals i could have just built, and then would have been collecting dust on a shelf, and then eventually butchered for parts etc.......the breadboard is essential for trying out and tweaking circuits...

i don't build much, but when i do, its a keeper.... ;)

i must update my boards with that metal strip for pots idea too... 8)...i have in/out jacks/dc socket/3pdt toggle true bypass and led on my board.....and an EF mess too.. ;D

That's neat!

This post might be a bit old. But since I only started recently. Here's mine
