I feel it has more 'guts' behind it at 6.09... It sounds great, im really pumped to play this loud.  I live in a 4 unit apartment, and 2 units are empty after this weekend and the guy upstairs has hearing problems, so I did turn it up a little bit for like 5 minutes and jammed on it.

good...play it as loud as you can!

one last thought...since 10K gave you 2V and 8.2K gave you 6V, you can use 2 common values in parallel (10K and 100K) to give you around 9K...so you can hear what it sounds like in the middle before you make the final decision.
