SPST for beginner project? (NOT Bypass)
« on: August 28, 2012, 08:36:12 PM »
So I bought the wrong switch for my beginner project. Its working on the breadboard and I want to put it in a box. Can I use an SPST? My forum searches only turned up topics regarding bypass....

It's not ideal but this is how you would do this:

My switch only has two connections, not three like in that diagram....

So, one wire to ground and the other to input makes a working switch but off is OFF, passes no signal. OK for now...

I see, SPST, I missed that. AFAIK that switch will not work for bypass.
