Dr Boogie gain pot trouble

Hi!

I have recently built Dr Boogie. Everything seems to be right except gain pot which doesnt work properly.
At left position there is  no sound but every other position has same amount of gain. It doesnt changes at all. I have 2 gain and 2 volume pots. Every gain pot react the same.

When I turn my gain knob full ccw theres no volume, other than that mine is awesome!

Looking at the schematic, with the gain all the way down, you'll get nothing out.  And mine is awesome too!   

@OP: Perhaps a short between gain lugs 2 and 3 (or other dodgy connection) might explain the uniform gain?  I'm sure someone else around here might be able to offer more concrete advice on that issue.

I have the same problem too. Between 8 and 9 o'clock it gets farty and dies suddenly. It doesn't bother me because I keep it cranked
But if someone wants to buy one from me I want it to be right.
