Here's 1 thing to whatch out for, man.  The bright switch to the Fuzz Face (oliver's fuzz face mods) Is incorrect, man.  The caps should go to the transistor; and the SPDT should go to the Input.

That being said......

i created a new bright switch for the electric guitar.  i installed it on my 1965 Mustang.  It's great.  i used a Vintage sprague .001uf and a Vintage taiwan .47uf capacitors.  It sounds far out, to say the very least!

i created this Mainly because i was tired of switching the pickup selector switch, Then touning the tone knob down, etc.  Now alls i gotta do is Flip a switch, and now i've got "woman tone" .

Just thaught i'd share it with yous guys....

I think you mean Oskar Bruil, the "Fuzz Face tour" guy, right?

i don't mean to be argumentative; but i beg the differ, man.  i tried it both ways; didn't work the way it shows on the diagram.  i had to reverse it to get it right.

Before i had to solder a Wire from the output jack to the base of q-1 just so it wouldn't suffer from "no sound" .  i reversed the Switch wiring and it works (ed) perfectly....

For the sake of those of us who are young and impressionable, what is the difference electrically?

The best way to switch a cap is illustrated here:
To avoid pops when switching it's best not to have a cap lead hanging.
