The problem is not with pisotones.com but with the web server itself.

pisotones.com is hosted free of charge in a friend's server and is having problems. I do not know when it will be OK again. I have been unable to update contents since last September and now it's completely out of order

I've been trying to contact the host administrator with not much luck so far. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Glad to see it back online...
IMO, that's some of the nicest DIY stuff I've seen.

great site.

but in english??
i can't find it anywhere..... (?!)?

Manolo Dudes

Thanks a lot for your support, guys!  8)

Cedric, there's not an English version of www.pisotones.com sorry. There are better sites around in that language. I've been tempted to translate it into english but it's been something that I'm always being postponing. Now it should be quite an overwhelming task... it's more than 70MB big!!!   Most of it are graphics but there are dozens of long text based  pages too!!!

The only thing I translated some time ago is a spreadsheet to graphically display the effects of modifying the taper of a pot by means of tapering resistors.

I dunno about what constitutes a better site, but even without spanish I have picked up some extra info from pisotones that I havn't noticed elsewhere.

So thanks

Rob...

...and with my 5 years of spanish, I can understand a fair amount of it, and man, it's just as good as the english sites.  New info is new info!
