I just jumped in on this kit. 17,99 dollar total for a delay kit with everything included made me laugh. (even harder with the free shipping to europe) I don't know if it ever arrives.

Yes i have. The reviews are mixed but the worst that could happen is that i have a box pt2399 3dpdt switch and some other stuff. ;)

Hi Fuzzzzzz-
The Ali-express ad names the brand "Protaitone"- same as the thread referenced by Kipper4.

Not to hijack the thread, but I am in the middle of building one of these, not doing it the easy way of course. The PCB in the Ali-express ad is a bit different from the Protaitone thread- it looks like they moved the erroneous lead on C4 to where it should be (paralleling R11), the spacing for the caps looks better, they added a 3PDT switch and a diode etc compared to the earlier card (Baolong). I can't tell from the photos if they fixed the connection to ground on R5- you should check this. Since the PC is different, my recommendation is that you sketch the front of the PC card on a piece of graph paper (get the relative positions of the holes right) and draw the connections as they exist- this is easy by simply sticking a lead from a resistor through a hole, flip the card over, follow the trace to the next hole, stick another resistor lead in that and flip the card over again, now connect those two dots- etc until its complete. Now you can check it against a known good schematic to see if they etched it right this time. Hopefully all is well with no mods needed.

I suggest that you breadboard the circuit with the supplied components, and see if you like the sound. You might want to consider changing things, like ceramic and electrolytic caps in the signal path. Depending on the location of input and output jacks, you might also consider changing the power caps (should be 5 of them) to Tantalum- you can use 22uF in place of 47uF and save a lot of volume- the card will fit more easily. Caps to ground can be ceramic, the  multi-layer ones take up little room, making it easier to install the card in your preferred location. Since the box is undrilled, you might consider populating the card first, then be shrewd where you place the jacks so that taller board components do not interfere. For instance, you might consider locating the jacks close to the face or on the rear of the box. I'm sure you can come up with an improved pot location plan. Good luck, and let us know!

Here are a couple of in-progress shots of the Protaitone kit:

So... i received the kit in the mail yesterday. they have certainly done better this time. The board is a new one.. looks nothing like the one you guys took. Fits perfectly. All the parts were well packed and labelled. Except for one faulty 5pf cap and two wromg cap values everything was in order. It even had a printout with it for offboard wiring. I got a blue enclosire which was also very nicely done. I just soldered it and it worked directly. Will do some mmore research but for now it is totally worth the 16 dollars.

My favorite part...
"If you do not use electric iron buyers, conventional capacitors and resistors, diodes do not know the buyer, please do not buy, we do not have time to do science, thank you.pls fist  make it , then  if you can  not make  it , pls  call me , we will deal , thank you ."

No time for science.

the circuit output is not the input. the reverse holds true for the circuit input.

why the fist making, though?
Right.
And do the diodes know the buyer?
I have one of the Diodes on my facebook. I could ask him.
