I was wondering who people in Australia use to get their parts for effects. I'm having problems tracking down someone that sells decent 3PDT and 2PDT switches plus IC's for effects like the small clone, ross phaser, etc
Any help would be great

I'm in Melbourne Australia, and the closest reliable source for 3PDT switches is Small Bear in New York.. while you are getting them, you might as well get the chips as well!
Actually, give a list of the chips & I'll see if I know a closer source.

Try ebay for blue 3PDT footswitches.  There's a guy selling 'em for US$6 each and he's got two left.  Jaycar have some pretty neat DPDT footswitches for AU$6 each.

No offense to bobbletrox, but those jaycar dpdt footswitches are generally pretty lousy. They are those taiwanese arrow ones, I've found them noisy and unreliable alright for prototyping but not for long term use.
Buy 3pdt here from aron

Those 'jaycar' DPDTs are exactly the same as I've found in a number of Lovetone pedals - but if you can wait, the crazy US/AUS exchange rate makes the 3PDTs better value if you need to switch a LED.

I don't know why Jaycar hasn't picked up on the blue 3PDTs -there must be demand for footswitches if they stock DPDT ones- and both types are made in Taiwan anyway!

G'day from Tassie,

I use the Jaycar DPDT footswitch (P/N SP-0764) and have found them OK so far.  I must admit I am not a heavy user so maybe in the longer term the Smallbear ones may be better.  Would also remove the necessity for a Millenium Bypass for a LED.
