Hi,in building the Univibe Clone i am using both J.C. and R.G`s layouts and descriptions .
Most of it is perfectly clear but according to J.C. the lightbulb must be 1.5W 25Ma.In R.G.`s partlist however it is stated as 12V 25Ma.
Which is the one to use?Or can both do it?
Also for the transformer;Conrad Electronic is selling nice small ones that will fit into an enclosure.
Unfortunately i am in the dark as far as the Ma of the unit are concerned.
Can someone help me out,please?
Thanks in advance,Ed

12 volts and 25 ma is 0.6 watt, so there isn't a great difference.But, 1.5 W and 25 ma gives 60V!!!! which can't be right, so far a I can see.
As a trap for young players, the resistance of a bulb changes by quite a lot when it glows (? factor of 4 or something?) so, using a multimeter can be misleading.
