Hello all !
    I am done building the board for the MXR dynacomp.  I was wondering what the 2k pot is for ?   Is it a trim pot?  and if it is how is it set?

I used the drawing by Jack Orman @ www.muzique.com

It's a trim, used to balance the inputs and cancel out feedthrough from the power supply.

Set it for the best sound which usually coincides with the middle of the travel and at the "highest noise".
