I've built the octavia with great results and was wondering if anybody has built the octavia with the mod from GGG, and is it worth doing.

i built mine with two mods. first is the GGG cap mod with switch. worth doing. it's simple and gives you a bit of a different tone. the other mod was switching between fuzz and octave by switching in and out the transformer. this one is weird. the output of the two modes varies greatly and there's not a whole lot of difference. the fuzz is better though for when you want to sound multiple notes. you dont get as much of those ring modulator like overtones. simple too, so you might as well do it.

I'll try the GGG cap mod, but where can you get the other mod from.
