Hi, i have built the Dyna from Tonepad layout (obviously) thanks Francisco.
I have the Dunlop Reissue and the original Ross, they both sounds different but...
They don't distort, unless i hit hard the strings with my humbuckers to full volume, and still the distortion is ok.
My clone distort to less levels, still sounds amazingly well and everything is working fine, the sound is almost the same with the Dunlop.
Then i take the Dunlop PCB out of the case and "CHARAAAAAANNN!!!!!!".
The transistors are MPSA18 and i use 2N3904, i started to think that i'm saturating the input buffer.
What you think???
The Dyna builders, what transistors are you using?? have you any distortion???
The trimpot in the Dunlop is in the middle, just like my clone.

Saludos y gracias, Marcelo.
Fuzz boxes don't need on/off switch!!!!!!!!

I was just at analogman's website reading that some of the trannys need to be matched pairs. I wanted to know which ones should be matched.

I've commented on this a couple of times (the search function holds a ton of info), I guess this is the best.

I don't know if he still does, but Keeley used to sell matched *quads* of transistors for Ross/Dynacomp clones.
