So, I perfed up a Tube Sound Fuzz with the 'Llama values substituted in, and this is what I came up with:

Schematic - based on Justin Philpott's TSF schemo and Jason M's values
Perfboard Layout - errors?
Sound clip  - Epi Sorrento >> faux llama >> Marshall 100w Valvestate - clean channel.

I'm not sure whether the perf is correct because the drive trimmer doesn't seem to do much at all (if anything)...and is it just me, or does this thing not agree with my guitar?  If anyone else gives this perf a go, I'd like to know how you think it sounds.

it sounds very good, thanks for sharing it.

I'm taking a very quick look at this and there appears to be some issues with the layout. What data sheet are you using? The TI datasheet available at Mouser http://focus.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/cd4049ub.pdf shows pin 1 being the far left pin at the bottom of your picture. If that is the case you need to re-work the layout. Your input is going into pin 9 instead of 14 and your output on pin 2 isn't connected. It's a quick look so I may be wrong.

Oh!  I don't think I ended up using the same inverters that are marked on my Schematic.  The first inverter I used is pin 9 & 10, and the second was on pins 14 & 15.  It just made the layout simpler to use two inverters on the same side and use the other side for the DC stuff.

Is that what you're talking about?

Ahhh !! Yes that is exactly what I am talking about. Is the rest of the layout as per the schematic? Would it be possible to post a re-edited schematic? It would make things much easier to check.
