I've been trying to get this thing to fit in a BB box, but i was having a lot of the problems with the height of the large caps i am using.  so i laid them down on their sides.  :D

the underside of the board is even more cramped.  i put pins on the board (hard to see but they are there) for measuring the bias voltage on Q2 and Q3.

measurements of the board are 2 x 1.5"

Is there a schematic available for the circuit?
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

What is this circuit? I never heard about it.

Brian Marshall

it is just another overdrive.  uses 3 mpf102's.  one is just a buffer.

I dont have a schematic file, just on paper.  it is an original design of mine.  I came up with the basic idea back in febuary or march, and this is actually a stripped down version.  the original had too much gain, and was just too mushy.

If i ever get the time to draw up a schematic on my computer, i will post it.

I couldn't be prouder!

The pic's stretched a little lengthwise isn't it? Makes the cap look taller than it is long.

i took it at an angle, so im sure it is distorted a little.

Looks cool. If you want, do a quick and dirty draw of it or scan the schematic and send to me, then I redraw it for you.

i have it on paper, but half of it is wrong, or at least not the way i am building it now.

I'll get to it eventually, but im really busy right now.
