Nurse Quacky - Adding an output knob?

Hi all,

After success with a DIY pedal in December (the Tweak-O) I think I'm going to try making the Nurse Quacky.  I noticed in the schematic, however, there is only an in and out.  No output level control.  Is this because it maintains the input level, or is this something that I should add?

I am fairly new at this, so if this is something I should add a link to some resource(s) would be nice.  It doesn't bug me to add stuff to the circuit, but I realize that in my inexperience that without guidance I may disable the pedal rather than doing something cool.  I am considering using R.G.'s Millenium Bypass because I think I finally understand enough about what it is doing.   :)

Thanks

My NQuacky when on is about at unity. Same as Off volume wise.
A pot could be added to control volume settings less than unity.
For a volume control that goes higher than unity, a simple clean booster [Mosfet boost or other] might be added at the output with a volume control on it.

Thanks.  I was more concerned about the gain levels being fairly equal when in both on or off modes.  For the sake of simplicity, I'll probably leave it as it is.

Thanks again,

That's what I did.
Just plug a booster after if needed.
I'm liking to have the Fet type booster here and there. One Fet, two Fet and a little voicing or grind...nice too having these kinds of effects in the chain.
