Does anyone have any information on this part and what could I sub it with?

Thanks!

It's a dual audio opamp, I guess you can sub it with any other dual opamp.

Thank you much Spongebob!!!!

What would be a common sub for :

OPA2134=
LM833N=

Thanks!

Could I use TL072 for both?
Thanks!

Don't know about the LM833, but I like the Burr Brown OPA2134 better than the TL072 in my limited experience. That's just in subjective audio terms, and depends on what circuit your putting it in. They might have sounded better to me because I got them as free samples from TI!

The lm833 is a bipolar input similar to the ne5532 --very quiet but pefers to see a low input impedance, and small resistance in the feedback loop.

The opa2134 is jfet-input ,  higher quality, quieter tl072, basically. Very high input impedance.

Download the data sheets for these, and the 4558, and any others you can think of, Arn, they do a great job of explaining the differences, and have some nice example circuits, too.

Thank you Everyone, you have all been a great help!!!

Yes, I will also get some free samples of the Burr Brown OPA's, couldn't seem to get the sample page up today.   I will try again tomorrow morning.

But, for now I am going to use NE5532
and  a TL072 for subs.  I believe it will work fine!

Peace to You All
