I repair pedals for a local shop, they sent home an old Morley oil can delay w/ me today.

I have never seen one of these things before, wanted to see if anyone had any advice, or ideas where to start.

The pedal passes signal in bypass mode, but otherwise does nothing....

RG has info on the oil can delay on geofex.com

There was a guy on ebay selling the oil needed.  Not sure if he still has it.

I remember a thread on the AX84 forum. Just check the search function on the site. It works better with high voltages so tubes are ideal.

I've fixed 3 or 4 oil can delays. Gibson, tel-ray etc.

There's a ton to do on 'em.

the oil is Ucon lb-65 and is extremely hard to find.

the "heads" are just conductive rubber which touch the rotating anodized disk.

The disk is the heart of the thing. Dont scratch it!!!

You can clean out the whole contraption with denatured alcohol. Then readjust the "heads", and fill 'em up with fresh oil.
