You two have done all the work, i have only make some modification so I thank you.
If you want i can try to translate the pdf in english.

@Gaussmarkov, you have inspired me a lot  for the quality on your pdf , schematics and projects reports:
I've build your TS808 version and i'm working on your Dr.Boogie with a personal modification (a speaker simulation).

DOne:Green Reaper ,DDT, Black Mesa Distortion,U..F.O., Dynocromp Rexx, Pearl OC-7, Bass Paralooper.Wooly MammuTones,Russian Big muff , Cmos Big Muff and other modifications
in progress: Diefet, Ebow.Valvecaster

i like it in italian!  :icon_cool:  if i cannot guess, i try the google translator and it usually makes it clear.

and i'm glad that you have enjoyed my versions of some stompboxes.  i have been inspired and taught myself by other folks on this forum.  it's a good process, isn't it?  :icon_biggrin:  i'm certainly thankful.

cheers, gm

Sorry to dredge up an oldie, but does anyone have a working link for that standard size IC version of the OC-7? Or someone who still has the pdf?

Crap, that's the one with the surface mount ICs. Mundy made one with normal IC sizes, I was looking for that one. Thanks anyway though!

 Hi!

Did somebody try to omit Q1 input buffer in this circuit (let the IC1A do the input buffering), did it have any influence on the circuit's performance?

The buffer is there mainly to support FET switching I believe, which is no longer used so maybe it's not needed anymore..?

Btw. there should be pull-down resistor at the very input (or after R1 eventually) for popless switching when true-bypass switching is used.

Applies for LowRider project as well.

Sorry if something of this was already discussed in some other Pearl OC-07 related thread or article, there is quite lot of them to search them all.

Cheers, T.

Dendrikas

Hello, could someone upload the building project again? Thanks a lot :)

Hey Dendrikas, the project is still on Gaussmarkov. Go to the 2007 archive and it can be found under Octaver Clone.

Hi! I know this post is dead but I can find information anywhere. I have a clon of the pedal and it has a variabloe resistor (trimmer) inside. I've seen pictures of other pedals and some have that resistor too. What is it for?
It's not the amps that kills you. It's the "mojo"

Ok. Just found this:

warning: It's a PDF
It's for tuning the upper octave.
Also I see many links are dead so maybe someone can use this. I know I will  :icon_mrgreen: It's very complete with diagram and schematics, also a component list.
