I been fixing up a buddy's ts10 and did some mods and repairs, sounds great but he wants a switch to select diff diode clippers.

The electrical part is no problem , It's finding the right spot to put the switch. Any one ever do this and if so where did the switch mount best for you ?

I was thinking below the knobs, which I've seen a few pictures like that, but looking inside doesn't look like much space. Was going to use a dpdt switch. Another spot I thought maybe between the ac adapter and the input jack. Its tight, but might fit.

So just wondering if any one has done it before or has advice on where to drill , I don't wanna put any extra holes it doesn't need.

Thanks,
Jimbo

There is a hole in the enclosure under the logo label.  I just used that. No drilling needed.

nevermind. I just realized you were talking about the ts10 :icon_redface:

I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

More than likely, he will play with that switch for a few days then leave it untouched after he found his favorite position...i would pull the diodes and switch out of the box, hanging on the wireing, then after those few days, when he has found his setup, wire it permanently (well, nothing is permanent in the world of diy)
too many options is rarely a good thing when on stage..Just a thought..

I ran some wires to sockets in the battery compartment and gave the guy a bunch of diodes to test out to get the style he liked.
