i friend gave me this to put in an floor enclosure with stompswitch, and normal jacks... when i took it apart, i noticed its a repeat percussion type of effect similiar to the kay t-1 circuit, that has been throwing me for a loop... it even uses the same tranny's: 2SC828R but this one has what looks like a dual ganged pot... and a trim pot...

i've never reversed a circuit from a pcb, but i am really interested in this circuit... it sounds really good to my ears, exactly what i am tring to get from the kay circuit... it also works great on bass as well... here are some pics: i can take better ones if someone is interested in reversing it from the pics...

man~!
check out the size of those caps... i lhad to laugh a bit when i cracked it open....

Thanks Ryan! Here's a down and dirty schematic.

Looks cool... You got any sounds, Ryan? :D If it's cool, I might just be interested in making that...

Lotta stuff floating around...
I got a BMP says "Preliminary Version"...
I need to keep building Tremolo's till I get Tremolo...lol...
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

I built one from that schematic several months ago and can confirm that it works. It's a cool stuttery, on-off type of tremolo. It sounds almost like a echo if you hold a note. Sounds similar to the Cmos echo that's been posted here. Sorry, no way to post sound clips.

I'm guessing the stutter effect posted by R.G. a short time ago should also sound similar with the added bonus of variable duty cycle. I'm hoping to get to that one in the next couple of months.

Sortof like a tremolo with a square wave LFO you mean?

I've been after a tremolo which varies between EAtrem style and on/off tremolo. I was thinking of making an EA tremolo and adding diodes in the LFO feedback path for a more square-like waveform...
