Just finished my Dist +. I like its distortion over the Smash Drive (which I built before, but incorrectly. I'll try it again). I just need to put in a box and wait to get some foot switches from .... oh, I forgot :? . There are no foot switches here in my country. For the moment, I'll try a toggle. I'll boxed it asap If ever I got answer/s to this:

Any mod to Dist+ to make it more suitable for solos? This one is great for power chords-driven riffs. I want it to scream a little bit.

Driving the input harder always? makes for more ____ [well in many cases]
 I put a Booster in front to drive it harder...Micro Amp or LPB1 Stratoblaster or Mosfet Boost.
 You can put a switch on different diode configurations...generally speaking softer clip/more output...harder clip less output...
 Drive the input ... and 'clamp' [with diodes] the clipping stage...Si diodes sound harder/harsher I gathr from reads.
