I'm sorry sir, we only have the regular ohms.

Yeah, I don't really expect to win anything. I'm just glad I could enter and give my $10 to help keep the forum going. This place has been awesome for a long time - lets keep it awesome people!

Bent, I'm flattered by your kind words. I feel like my stuff is often pretty run of the mill, boring of you will, but those two came out quite nicely.

Scores are in, but we need a little time to prepare the announcement, which will include the prize listing and schedule for selecting prizes. Some of our judges (including me) have other commitments today, but I think we'll have something within the next 48 hours (probably sooner).  We're very close!!!

This just changed from one form of nervous wait to another.

Winners Announcement

First, thank you everyone for entering and posting some truly amazing pedals. If you contributed an original pedal to this contest, please consider starting a thread in the BYOSB area with the schematic and layout.

Originally when we started the contest, we expected to have prizes for only the top 1/3 of contestants. Instead we had a surplus of prizes, and even more in reserve, including contestants willing to donate to the prize pool. It was a reminder of how generous this community is with more than just its knowledge. To make a long story short, we ended up with nine prizes at the time of the contest start, and therefor we have nine places.

Without further ado, the winning builds in order:

1st - Liquitone - Deluxe Stereo Vibe
2nd - GGBB - Orange Smoothie Compressor
3rd - Deadastronaut - Space Patrol Fuzz
4th - Pakrat - Mad Clone
5th - LucifersTrip - Atom 'Lytic Triple Barrel Lo-Fi Electret Distortion
6th - Govmnt_Lacky - The Un-named Flanger
7th - Vallhagen - PinKing
8th - Haveyouseenhim - Fromage Percolé
9th - Liquitone - Deluxe Tremolo

Here is, again, the list of prizes.

How this will work: Winners choose their prizes in order. You choose one prize, then post your choice in this thread. If it's a prize to be claimed from a retailer, I will contact them to advise that you won the prize they donated. I will need to carbon copy you on that e-mail so the retailer can get in touch with you, so please send me your e-mail address at the time you choose the prize.

It would be polite to notify the next in line that it's their turn to pick. :)

Finally, I ask that everyone please hold their comments until the prizes have been claimed. I know everyone wants to congratulate the winners, but we really need to make this go as smoothly as possible.

I will hold off my oscar-speech till all the winners have picked their prizes, but have to say I am very happy, grateful and proud to have won the 1st prize!!! Thanks!!!

It's very hard choosing prizes, since they're all so great, but I choose the inscribed Mark hammer built FY-2 with laser-etched enclosure by pickdropper.

Thank you guys, it's an honor to have been a part of this competition, and to have my project listed in the same thread as all of these seriously killer builds! Thank you John, Jim, and Jon for taking the time to run this great competition.
I will choose the 1776 Effects PCB prize pack  ;D Thanks so much to everyone who donated prizes, your generosity proves what a great community this is!
