Hemmo's "Noise567" ??

I've built it and can confirm that it works. It's a little awkward to use. Trying to balance on one foot while waving the other in front of the LDR to get the exact pitch you want takes practice to say the least.

You can use a pot instead of the LDR, or use a switch to select between either (which is what I've done). Look at Tim Escobedo's Thing Modulator for another version. Build both. Go deaf.

yeah, so i'm pretty much thinking about building a NOISE567 and add a fuzz after it + a boost, for a friend of mine.

The Noise 567 does indeed work. The LM/NE567 is pretty common in the US from both dealers and surplus houses.

It's noisy in that it's kinda like a ring modulator with constant oscillator feedthrough. Not in the sense of white noise. The LDR is a nice touch.

gone :cry:  gone gone. for now at least.
   we use to email everyday. then he started to cut himself up and do things that will get you killed . i hate losing friends. i'm hopeing he simply got sick of fx and moved on. but our friendship went much further and i don't understand the MIA bull shit. christ , if you're out there, i really hope you and your wife are ok.

Last exchange I had with Christ was over a year ago. I sold a couple boxes that were Bazz inspired, and asked him how he wanted me to send his cut. He  gave me a mailing address and insisted on cash. So I sent the USD cash (wasn't much, maybe enough to buy a couple packs of cigs) in two separate envelopes to his address. Don't know if he ever got it. Haven't heard from him since.

I remember him posting about cutting himself up (trying to cut his arms off?) and it was really disturbing.  

I hope the guy got himself help and got himself well.. too smart/talented a guy to lose.
